Description
NA The US Army CECOM is contemplating award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a four-year period of performance subject to the availability of funds. The IDIQ is for an estimated quantity of 75 each LHGXA. This will be a non-d evelopment item (NDI) procurement. The current source for this item, AS-4429/TSC, LHGXA is Harris Corp., Melbourne, FL (CAGE Code 66948). A contract for a quantity of up to 61 LHGXAs was awarded to Harris Corp. in 1995, and was extended for an additional 50 systems in 1999. Complete technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this item is not available from the Army. Minimum technical requirements are contained in LHGXA Specification A3253195, dtd 18 May 1995. Interested suppliers capable of fur nishing this NDI item should so indicate by sending email to dennis.evanchik@c3smail.monmouth.army.mil. The response should include documentation such as test results, copy of the purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the current source, or a sta tement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply the item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item that the source supplies. Successful supplier(s) may be required to warrant that the item sup plied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. This is not an RFP. No solicitation document exists. Key Features: 16? or greater aperture; 4200 lb. or less total stowed antenna weight; Compatible with GMF/JRSC/LMST terminals; 2 KW power handling in X-Band operation; tow transportable to the maximum rated speed of M1097, M35 & M939 trucks; air transporta ble (roll-on/roll-off) C-130, C-141, C-5 & C-17 aircraft; single point lift with UH60 and larger rotary aircraft; CARC finish for NBC decontamination; set-up/tear-down less than 45 minutes with a three-person crew. INTELSAT certified options for Triband c apability on C, X, and Ku band frequencies. The upgrade path must be applicable to new production and previously fielded LHGXA antenna systems. Key Specifications: G/T greater than 29 dB/K; EIRP greater than 75 dBW w/500 W HPA; Gain greater than 51 dB; Tracking Loss less than ? dB in wind up to 45 mph.; stowed envelope less than or equal to 94? high, 95? wide, 249? long. Certified iaw DSCS Earth Terminal Certification Requirements dtd 13 May 1993. Key Environmental Conditions: Non-operating, -40 to 160 F.; Humidity 100%, (-40 to 160 F.); 40,000? non-operating, 7,000? operating; Ice/Snow loading up to 20 lb./sq. ft.; Shock/Vibration via Munson road test; Rail Impact via MIL-STD 209 and MTMC PAM 55-1 9; Air transport via MIL-STD 209.
