- Description
- Provide all labor, equipment, material, tools, and qualified supervision to Perform Phase II (CDS), Cable Plant Upgrade, at the Information Technology Center, on the Edward Hines Jr., VA Hospital Campus, Hines, Illinois. Work is to complete the Upgrade Voice and Data Local Area Network (LAN) Cable Plants at the Hines ITC (Building 215 on the Edward Hines Jr., VA Hospital Campus). This will involve the installation of Cat. 3, 5e and fiber optic cable and associated hardware specified therein. The resultant Cable plant should be a versatile, modern, structured cable syst4em that allows for ease of moves, adds and changes as reorganizations occur and building uses change over time. Project Engineer is Ernie Reichert at (708) 681-6634. NAICS code is 235990. Estimated issue date is November 20, 2002. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000, and $500,000. Award is subject to the availability of funds. This solicitation will be issued, and made available free of charge at the Department of Veterans Affairs Business Opportunities System (BOS) website at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Interested parties may also access the solicitation on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. There is a non-refundable charge of $25.00 for the solicitation package, if a paper copy is requested. Checks should be made payable to: DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS.
