- Description
- The Atlanta Network =96 VISN 7 Logistics has a requirement for a contractor to furnish Basic Life Support (BLS)t/Advanced Life Support (ALS)/Stretcher services for the Atlanta Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Atlanta VAMC), 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA.=20 Contractor shall furnish necessary personnel, equipment, and services to provide 24-hour ambulance service (non-emergency) to include BLS; ALS units and to transport non-emergency stretcher services to the beneficiaries of the Atlanta VAMC. Ambulances will be licensed and meet the minimum of vehicle requirements mandated by the State of Georgia, Department of Human Resources Public Health, Chapter 290-5-30. This solicitation is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Contract period will be for a base year with four (4) one year option renewals.=20 Award will be made on a source selection basis. Rating factors, in descending order of preference are: Number of vehicles available; type of operating vehicles; condition of vehicles; number of staff; staff experience/qualifications. Solicitation will be available on/about 11/15/02 and proposals will be due on/about 12/13/02.
