- In accordance with FAA AMS, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's intention to exercise the first option year with AES of Atlantic City, New Jersey. This contract is for the acquisition of professional engineering services necessary to evaluate, plan, execute and provide overall support for the service verification activities of the FAA's Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) project. AES, Inc. possesses the unique knowledge and necessary expertise to support vendor testing, operational testing and site testing for this project. A competitive solicitation is not available for this project. If you do not agree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate the information accordingly. Please limit your document to 5 pages. Any and all responses to this announcement must be received in this office by 4:00 P.M., Eastern Time, November 13, 2002, at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Contracts Branch, ACX-51, Atlantic City International Airport.
