- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for technical support services for the Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC) in support of the Integrated Information Management System (IIMS). The IIMS project is a method of acquiring technical support services to assist the JSSC in fulfilling its mission responsibilities. The support services are for four computer sites, three located in the Pentagon and one at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. All contractor personnel will be required to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance prior to contract performance. All contract support staff must be Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligible. JSSC manages complex client/server LANs (Solaris and Windows mini/microcomputers) and software, provides matrixed support to the Global Command and Control System (GCCS) help desk, and has special operational oversight for Global Status of Resources and Training System (GSORTS) applications and databases. The support services shall include, but are not limited to, the following areas: 1) Installation and Management of Data Communications Networks, 2) Systems Administration Support, 3) GCCS Enterprise Management Service (GEMS) Implementation, 4) Automated Information System (AIS) Security Support, 5) Visual Information Systems Support, 6) GCCS Management Center Support, 7) GCCS and National Military Command Center (NMCC) User Training Support, and 8) GSORTS Applications User and Operational Support. The contemplated solicitation will be issued on an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis containing a combination of options and award terms for a seven-year period. DISA intends to release the solicitation via the Internet on or about 31 October 2002 on the DISA Contracting Opportunities website at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review this web page frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be available for pickup or mailing. Offerors will be notified via e-mail when the solicitation is released. Requests to be on the email list for notice of the solicitation release may be sent via e-mail to Carlisia@ncr.disa.mil. FACSIMILE AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED NOR CALLS RETURNED. All requests should include: name of company, point of contact, telephone number, facsimile, return email address, post office mailing address and applicable solicitation number, in the body of the response. Internet requests without a return address will not be recognized. DISA intends to award a contract based on initial offers by 30 March 2003 based on best value. Offerors are reminded that all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The Department of Defense cannot award contracts to contractors that are not registered. Information on CCR registration may be obtained by calling the CCR Registry at 1-888-227-2423 or be accessing the website at: http://www.ccr.gov. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
