- Description
- Project is for the use of goats to browse 80% of chaparral vegetation types up to five feet in height by concentrating goats in fenced areas, on a total of 300 acres. The objective is to reduce the fire hazard by removing available fuels, and to maintain pre-crushed fuel breaks. Project area is located approximately five miles from Prescott, Arizona. Project is estimated to start January 15, 2002. Contract time is 180 calendar days. Offerors will be evaluated on experience and price. Solicitation will be set-aside for small business concerns.
