Description
NAICS Code: 541620 The United States Environmental Protection Agency, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to McGraw Hill Construction, of Washington, D.C. EPA's ENERGY STAR Buildings (ESB) program offers organizations energy efficient solutions that save money while protecting the environment. Historically, ESB has focused on working with sectors in the commercial and industrial market to improve the energy performance of existing floor space. ESB intends to analyze the potential of expanding their efforts into various sectors to include new construction. This requires reliable market data about the construction industry and comprehensive analysis of key market trends and economic conditions to make a decision to expand into new constructions. Dodge Construction Market Forecasting Service, of McGraw Hill Construction, offers the most comprehensive database for new constructions, additions, and major alterations nationwide in terms of project volume and history. Their comprehensive database and unique capability in the construction forecasting industry makes McGraw Hill Construction the only reliable source to provide the forecast required for ESB's analysis. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541620. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting the EPA's requirements stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Interested firms shall provide detailed information outlining their capabilities--any response failing to provide the aforementioned data will be disregarded. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
