- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity cost plus fixed fee type contract for engineering, technical and logistics services. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 Apr 03 to 31 Mar 04, with nine one year option periods. The total level of effort estimated to be ordered during the term of the contract is 3,132,800 man-hours of direct labor including authorized subcontract labor. NAICS 54133 applies. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www2.eps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. Additional Information: Solicitation N00189-03-R-0005 will be released on or about 08 Nov 02 with a mid-December response date. This requirement is a full scope follow-on to N00189-98-D-0043 (Day and Zimmerman, Inc., 1818 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103). This requirement is a partial follow-on to multiple award contracts N00189-98-D-0106 (Anteon Corporation, Suite 700, 3211 Jermantown Road, Fairfax, VA 22030-2801) and N00189-98-D-0107 (EG&G Technical Services, Inc., 900 Clopper Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878). Only the Programs Support function of N00189-98-D-0106/0107 is covered under this solicitation. Small business participation in this requirement has not yet been fully identified. The requiring activity for this solicitation is Fleet Technical Support Center, Atlantic. It is anticipated that this will be a multiple award contract.
