Description

Sources Sought as follows: FOR HOVENWEEP NATIONAL MONUMENT : The Contractor shall produce and deliver an informative and evocative 12 to 18 minute, comprehensive orientation video for Hovenweep National Monument. The program will serve as a general introduction to the site for park visitors and interpret the resources and history of Hovenweep. A suggested approach might include using a combination of historic and contemporary photos or footage, aerial shots, animation and/or computer graphics such as recreations or 3-D-fly-throughs, and assorted other special effects. The program shalll be produced with two-channel audio, in standard 4X3-video format, delivered on Digital BetaCam following technical specifications as specified in the scope of work. The primary viewing venue for the video program will be the Hovenweep Visitor Center. It will be shown using a 36-inch flat-screen monitor and a DVD player to be supplied and installed by the National Park Service (NPS). The Contractor shall provide the following deliverables: One Final Program Edit Master - two channel Digital Betacam edit master with narration in English, music and effects on the stereo left and right channels plus closed captions. One Digital Betacam protection master of the edit master. One Digital Betacam edit master with international track for subsequent mixing in foreign languages. Beta-SP copy of the Final Program Edit Master. Beta-SP copy of the Final Master with open captions. 6 DVDs recorded with both program Masters, one with closed captions and one with open captions. Final deliverables are due no later than 270 days after award. In a not to exceed 3 pages, please e-mail the COTR, paul_henderson@nps.gov your qualifications to produce an orientation video for a National Monument. Include your e-mail address, DUNS number, the size of your Company (this is a small business set-aside $21.5M is the small business size standard). Potential contractors must register at http://www.ccr.gov to be considered for award.
