- This solicitation is for 134 ea, NSN 1720-00-939-0113, Piston Assembly Guide. This is a flight critical item and First Article Testing is required. All offers submitted must be in accordance with latest specifications,standards and or drawings as cited in this solicitation. If offeror(s)have never successfully manufactured this item before, a Pre-Award Survey will be conducted jointly by DSCC Columbus, applicable DCMC and Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ. If the Pre-Award survey is positive, a mandatory Post-Award conference will also be conducted. See numbered notes,1,8 and 9. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of 11.18.02 at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Availability of drawings. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com./rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07 - Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Proposed procurement contains a 200% option for increased quantities. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside.
