- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services for male and female Federal offenders in the Salinas, California area. The services required include (1) Intake Assessment (one per inmate); (2) Individual Counseling 24-30 minute sessions per inmate); and (3) Group Counseling (48-30 minute sessions per inmate). The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) dated November 19, 1999." A firm-fixed unit price requirements type contract is anticipated for a one-year base and four one- year options. An estimated 10 inmates for the base period and each of the four one-year options will require services. The solicitation will be available on or about October 31, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is November 29, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
