- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract for the rental of 2 each 750 CFM diesel powered air compressors with moisture separator (electric type) after coolers for approximately 5 months beginning on or about 21 February 2003. The units must be complete systems, free standing and capable of being towed; they shall be outfitted with suitable attachments for overhead lifting. The place of performance will be Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. The units will be used in an industrial environment and will be exposed to everyday weather, grit, paing, and saltwater air. The complete specifications will be included in the written solicitation. This requirement is being handled utilizing SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES as set forth in FAR Part 13. Response date for submission of quotations is 5 December 2002. Requests for solicitation packages will be accepted via mail and e-mail only. All requests shall include, as a minimum, the complete mailing address, telephone number, fax numer and point of contact.
