- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to solicit a quotation, on a sole source basis from The College of American Pathologists, Snomed International Division, 325 Waukegan Rd, Northfield IL 60093, Snomed RT and Snomed CT license agreement for the period 10/01/2002 through 09/30/2003. This agreement will allow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to use Snomed Concepts and Concept terms and to authorize up to one hundred (100) third party reporting and receiving entities with ?CAP? . This agreement is non-transferable, non-exclusive license. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and an oral quotation will be solicited on or about 11/15/2002. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to 41U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Qualified vendors have 15 days from the date of this synopsis to submit capability statements delineating their ability to provide this license. Information faxed to Shirli R. Wall @ 404-638-5456 will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation exists.
