- This solicitation is to fulfill the government's recurring needs for Security Cabinets, Safes, Vault Doors, Map and Plan Files and Accessories, COMSEC Containers and Special Access Control Containers. Do not reapply or respond to this announcement if you are a current 71 III E contract holder. To find information for other types of furniture, contact the National Furniture Center at 703-305-6636. This is a standing solicitation (proposals may be submitted at any time) for Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 71 III E, for Miscellaneous Furniture. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10/31/02. Contracts will be effective for a 5-year period beginning on the date of award and include options to extend for three additional 5-year periods. New contractors are required to submit their electronic files to GSA Advantage! within 6 months after award. This solicitation is unrestricted (not set-aside.) There will be no copies mailed. Offerors must download the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov.
