- Description
- Seeking sources capable of providing mortuary services such as embalming, preparation and caskets for the period of eight month base with provisions for four one-year option periods at the same quantities. Recipients of the services and supplies are outlined in NAVMEDCOMINST 5360.1 dated September 1987. Contractor must be within 30-mile radius of the Naval Hospital located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. A requirements type contract is anticipated. This solicitation will be a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS/SIC code is 812210/7261. Solicitation to be issued on or around 13 December 2002. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading from the following website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently, suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing the request. Reference the RFP number when requesting copies of the solicitation. Interested parties should provide their CAGE Code and FAX number.
