- NA This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source contract under FAR 6.302-1 to G.E. Medical Systems. G.E. Medical Systems is the manufacturer of the R&F Systems and is the only known source to have access to the proprietary software that is required. Th is requirement is to provide maintenance service and repair to include all part, labor and travel to include software updates. The period of performance will be for a base year and (4) four option years, from 1 January 2003 through 31 December 2003. This request is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized in FAR subpart 13.5 Test Program for certain Commercial Items and will result in single firm fixed-priced contract. The NAICS for this acquisition is 811310 with a size sta ndard of $5 million.
