This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3 & 4 that include all Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are in the process of standard izing Orthopedic Ambulatory Aids as listed in the subject line above. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items are eligible to participate in the standardization process . Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full product line, must provide customer support, in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, must provide clinical support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide company?s return policy, must provide company?s distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3 & 4, and must provide electronic and hard-copy o f proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: Crutches (Aluminum/Wood/Lofstraid)- Available in a variety of sizes ranging from pediatrics to extra tall, durable, pairs are complete with tips, grips, and pads, adj ustable with easy and speed, and grips and pads provide comfort. Canes (Aluminum/Wood/Quad)-Durable, easily adjustable, and come complete with handgrip and tip. Walker (Aluminum/Wheel Blocker/Hemi-Walker)- Walkers need to be easily adjustable, durable, and available in standard size and wide body. Accessories (Crutches/Canes/Walkers)- Replacement pads, tips, and grips will be available for crutches and tips and grips for canes and walkers. Respondents must address all criteria listed above.
