- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform services, unless specified as provided by the Government. Contractor shall provide transportation to the Air lifter Tanker Association (ATA) conference being held in Nashville TN. A tour bus to hold a minimum of 47 passengers, with a restroom, heat/air conditioning, TV w/VCR shall be furnished, with the availability of meal consumption. On November 6th 2002, show time for the bus is 5:30PM and will depart at 6:00PM sharp and travel non-stop to Nashville TN. The pickup point will be located on McGuire AFB, BLDG.1907, E. Arnold Ave. November 10, 2002 will be the return from Nashville to McGuire AFB NJ departing at 9:00AM sharp and travel non-stop to McGuire AFB NJ, show time 8:30, location for pick up will be the Comfort Suites in Nashville TN. The contractor will provide two bus drivers to alternate driving to make the non-stop trips possible. Two single hotel rooms will be provided to the two bus drivers at the Government?s expense for the duration of the time stayed in Nashville (3 days). When in Nashville, on the days of November 9th and 10th, the contractor will provide transportation to and from the ATA Convention and the Comfort Suite every hour between the time of 7:00AM and 12:00AM. This solicitation is a Request for Quote and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 4813, NAICS code is 513390 and the related Small Business Size Standard is $12.5 million. The proposed performance period is for five days. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offer or who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 30 October 2002. Due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE code).
