- Description
- Work consists of providing active duty and retired military personnel and their dependents, survivors of deceased members, and certain members of the Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve, with information concerning community volunteerism, both on and off Seymour Johnson AFB NC. The Information and Referral (I&R) Program Manager's primary purpose is to implement and administer a comprehensive information, referral, and follow-up system in the FSC, and increase service delivery to military members, their families, retirees, and DOD civilians by enhancing linkages to resources on and off the local installation. The I&R manager will assess needs and determine appropriate referral to on and off base community agencies. A minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree in Business or a Human Resources Administration/ Development-related field. A strong counseling background is preferred. Past proven experience working in an Air Force Family Support Center is highly desired. All work shall be in compliance with the Statement of Work. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This action will be a small business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561110 with a small business size standard of $6M. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 29 Oct 2002 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fedbizops.gov.
