- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotations (Solicitation No. RFQ 786-39-03) for a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, material and supervision necessary to provide grounds maintenance services for Raleigh National Cemetery, 501 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27610 for the base period December 1, 2002 (or date of contract award) through September 30, 2003, with up to four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2007. This acquisition is a total (100%) set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS Code is 561990 and the size standard is $6.0 Million. The government recommends a pre-quote site visit prior to submitting your quote for this project. Please contact the Charles Good, New Bern National Cemetery at ph. (252) 637-2912 to arrange for the site visit. This solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.3. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote. Requests for a hard copy of the solicitation must be made in writing to Ms. Diane Campbell, Contract Specialist, and accompanied by a cashier's check or money order (Do Not Send Cash) in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable), payable to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mails on or about November 1, 2002. Solicitations may be obtained FREE OF CHARGE via the internet at the following URL address, on or about November 1, 2002: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=786-39-03. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Quoters are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Note 1.
