- Description
- This is a sources sought synopsis for a potentital 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. If adequate responses are not received from HUBZone small business concerns, the acquisition may be solicited as a small business set-aside. Responses must be in writing; facsimile or e-mail responses are acceptable, e-mail ralph.broome@la.usda.gov. or fax number 318-473-7831. All responses must be received within 10 calendar days to the above address or fax number. As a minimum the following information is required: (1) copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone small business concern; (2) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer as a prime contractor on this acquisition; (3) evidence of experience in this type of work including contract numbers, project titles,dollar values and contact points with their phone numbers; (4) evidence of capabilities to be bonded for bid, payment and performance bonds. Work to be accomplished under this project will consist of the dredgind and disposal of approximately 35,000 cubic yards of earthen material from a borrow area in a section Vermilion Bay called Hell Hole, into a pipeline canal. Major item of work is excavation, dredging. Project is located in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and incidentials necessary to perform the work. The estimated cost for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 234990. The small business size is standard is $28.5 million.
