- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) SPO41003R0442. (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-12. (iv) This solicitation is open to ONLY small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes of 335999, with a size standard of 500 employees. Other forms referenced herein are required to be completed and submitted with all quotations. (v) FAR 16.504, This Solicitation is for a Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type Contract for a 3-year base and includes one two year option. The quantities of supplies specified are estimates only and are not a representation to an offeror that the estimated quantity will be required or ordered, or that the conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal, Any supplies to be furnished under this resulting contract shall be ordered by issuance of delivery order. The contractor shall provide unit prices and quantity price breaks for the following: Listed in order of NSN/ CID/ Min per del order/ est annual qty/; (vi) NSN5975-00-152-1144/ CID A-A-50552 (DTD95May31) Type I, CL 4, STY M, KIND N/ 100ea/ 48,424ea/ (vii) Terms are FOB: Origin; Acceptance/Inspection, Origin; QAP-001 Applies; Critical Application Item (viii) FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (OCT. 2000), applies to this acquisition. (ix) The evaluation will be based on technical capability of the item to meet the Government requirement, price and past performance. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items (July 2002). All evaluation factors are approximately equal to cost or price. (x) FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items (July 2002) is incorporated and is required to be submitted with this contractor?s quote. (xi) FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract terms and conditions-Commercial Items (Oct. 2000) applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercials Items applies to this acquisition. (xiii) Surge and Sustainment requirements apply to this acquisition. A Surge and Sustainment plan must be submitted with this quotation.
