Description

Solicitation (RFP) Number: N00189-02-R-0015 DESCRIPTION: The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with both Time and Material and Firm Fixed Priced Task Orders in support of The Fitting Out and Supply Support Assistance Center (FOSSAC), Norfolk, Virginia. The contract will be awarded for a base year and four additional one-year option periods to total a potential five-year contract. The contractor shall be required to support the operating, managing, and maintenance of government lodging facilities across the following geographic locations: United States, Guam, the Middle East, Italy, Spain and various other European countries, and Japan and other Pacific Rim locations. Note that the locations stated above are not necessarily all-inclusive; other locations may be added/deleted in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the contractor shall operate the entire lodging facility to include providing assistance and support of minor functions thereof. Facility functions shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, providing desk clerk services, providing general information to guests concerning the local area, cleaning rooms and buildings, general supply, general warehousing, general labor, accounting and data processing, general maintenance food services, laundry, and switchboard operating functions. Additional specifications and/or task descriptions for the subject requirement will be detailed in the body of the solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 (Standard Industrial Code (SIC) equivalent is 7011) and Federal Supply Class (FSC) Code S299 takes precedence for the subject requirement. The solicitation number for this procurement is N00189-02-R-0015 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 15. A complete RFP package will be available on or about 31 July 2002 and can be obtained by downloading the documents at the FedBizzops website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (word document - not winzipped). Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site(s); this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
