Description

Renovate 2 District Courtrooms, Courtrooms #2 and #3, on the sixth floor of the U.S. Federal Building and Courthouse. In general work includes replacement of wall, floor, and ceiling finishes as well as replacement of courtroom millwork including the Judge's bench, Clerk's bench area, Jury box, and gallery bench seating. HVAC, fire sprinkler, and electrical systems will be modified to accommodate new courtroom layouts and design. Tel/data/security rough-in will be provided as part of the work. Target for bid opening is 12/3/2002. There is no charge for solicitation documents, but bidders must agree to control documents in accordance with GSA SBU requirements. Agreement format will be issued with solicitation. Estimated magnitude of the project is between $800,000 and $1,200,000.
