- Description
- Contract Line Item 0001, after the sentence "Equipment shall meet all safety requirements identified by NIOSH/MSHA for subject units.," insert the following text: "At a minimum, the unit must have easy to read or clearly visible indicator calibrated in pounds per square inch or fractions of total container capacity (or both). At a minimum, the unit must have audible alarm that indicates when 25% of service life reached. Unit shall provide breathable air for up to four hours (depending on user) at a minimal constant 1.5L/minute O2." The following FAR clauses are hereby incorporated: 52.225-5, Trade Agreements and 52.225-6, Trade Agreements Certificate. The closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitiation has been extended to close of business, 4:30 P.M., EST, 13 November 2002.
