- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. Patrick AFB wishes to purchase seven transformers that range from 75 KVA to 750 KVA. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-02-T-0011 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3612, business size of 750 employees, and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335311. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 31 Oct 02 at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/.
