- Description
- The Office of Justice Programs intends to modify Contract OJP-99-C-002, entitled the NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFERENCE SERVICE contract, with Aspen Systems Corporation, 2277 Research Boulevard, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The modification will exercise the option to extend the contract for six-months, pursuant to FAR Clause 52.217-08, entitled OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES. During the six-month option period, the contractor is anticipated to provide the same monthly level of services that is consistent with what the OJP-Bureaus and Offices have experienced during the fourth and final year of the contract. The contract requirements include the following: information collection, response center search and referral services, user surveys, document distribution, publication support, electronic development, marketing and promotion, and international program support. The Contractor shall provide the services to the National Institute of Justice, Task 1; Bureau of Justice Assistance, Task 2, Bureau of Justice Statistics, Task 3; Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Task 4; Office of Justice Program's Crime Act Offices, Task 5; Office of National Drug Control Policy, Task 6; Office for Victims of Crime, Task 7; Federal Emergency Management Agency, Task 8; National Institute of Corrections, Task 9; and Community Oriented Policing Services, Task 10. The six-month option period will begin on December 1, 2002 and shall continue through May 31, 2003. This notice to exercise an option is not a request for competitive proposals.
