- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This is a small business set-aside. All qualified/responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Virginia Contracting Activity(VCA) on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency(DIA) seeks to purchase: 60 - Garmin GPS V Deluxe, to include the following; portable antenna, PC interface card, automotive mount, 12-volt cigarette lighter, wrist strap, owners manual, quick start guide and both base maps. The Americas (Americas Autoroute, enhanced Mapsource City, select CD North America Only w/full coverage and full unlock). The European, (Atlantic Autoroute, enhanced Mapsource City, select CD full European coverage w/full coverage and full unlock). All interested vendors have until Noon Thursday, 24 October 02 to submit their quotes. The Government intends to award a fixed-price order to the offeror whose quote is most advantageous on the basis of price and delivery time. Quotes shall include price per unit/total cost to include shipping to zip code 22312, business size, DUNS #, Tax ID #, Company's address, telephone #, point of contact and email address. The provisions in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Interested parties SHALL email their quote to austin.thomas@dia.mil with Subject line: GPS V Deluxe or fax to (202)-231-2831. It is the responsibility of the offeror to confirm receipt of their quote. Any questions or concerns about this requirement should be addressed to the POC listed below.
