- Description
- The contractor shall provide 9 cargo panel vans at various durations. The durations are as follows: 5 each, Cargo Panel Vans, provided within 15 days of award, 2 each, Cargo Panel Vans, provided by 11 Dec 2002, 2 each, Cargo Panel Vans, provided by 11 Jan 2003. The rental period is weeks from approximately 1 Nov 2002 through 30 June 2003 and will be adjusted at time of award. Vans shall be equipped with driver and passenger seat only, air conditioning, roof rack and trailer hitch or hole for trailer hitch on rear of vehicle, with unlimited mileage. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision tools, materials, transportation and management necessary to supply the various 9 specified vehicles for long term lease for the SPAWAR Command, at the Naval Station, San Diego, California. This long term rental is to support the transportation requirements of the Naval Station San Diego SPAWAR command. The performance and quality of the vehicles delivered by the contractor, including services rendered and any documentation or written material, shall be subject to inspection, review and acceptance by the government. The contractor shall provide a minimum basic industry standard warranty for vehicle integrity, including possible replacement of inoperable vehicles due to defects through the duration of the contract.
