- Description
- Contractor(s) shall provide elevator inspection services inclusive of supervision, labor, equipment and supplies, to perform routine and period inspection/test, including monitoring the performance of five year load test requirements, for all government owned elevators/dumbwaiters for the DVAMC'S located within VISN 7(Alabama,CAVHCS East & West;Georgia, Atlanta & Augusta; South Carolina). Inspections/test must be conducted in accordance with ASME and the local state regulations. Inspectors must meet the qualification requirements of ASME QEI-1, and be certified by an organization accredited by ASME. Company must have a minimum of five years experience in the inspection/testing of elevators/dumbwaiters with the comparable size and number of elevators for the eight facilities located within VISN 7. Contract period will be for a base year and four option year renewals, beginning 1/1/03. NAICS 811310. Solicitation will be available o/a 11/01/02 and will be due o/a 12/02/02.
