Description
The Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is hosting an Industry Day Conference for interested offerors who are capable of providing Aviation Support Services for the INL counter-narcotics mission. This will be the first of several opportunities for industry to participate in this procurement process. The primary objective of this Industry Day is to provide interested offerors with an overview of the INL counter-narcotics mission, an overview of the performance based procurement process, tour the INL facilities located in Melbourne, FL, and participate in one-on-one discussions with the INL program office officials. The facility tour will pass through industrial areas so attendees should dress accordingly. This is an invitation to participate in this conference and does not constitute either an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. The Industry Day Conference will be conducted on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 (Time 0730) and Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort, Melbourne Oceanfront, 2605 North A1A, Melbourne, FL 32903. Some rooms have been made available on first come-first served basis. Reservations may be made by calling 321-777-4100 or on the web www.holiday-inn.com/mlb-oceanfront. Please mention INL Industry Day to receive a special rate. The Industry Day agenda is provided below. If necessary, a second day of one-on-one meetings may be added. 6 November: Time 0730; Registration and Sign-in, Opening Remarks, Industry Day Ground Rules, Program Overview, Break, Performance Based Contracting Information, Milestones to Award, Lunch(No Host), INL Facility Tour, Closing Remarks. 7 November: One on one discussions with industry attendees. All interested parties planning to attend are required to notify Mr. Steve Harris, at harriss@inlfl.state.gov with the names and affiliation of the attendees. Also state whether you will interested in having a one-on one discussion. In addition, attendance of foreign nationals requires a 14-day prior notification. Participation in the Industry Day conference is voluntary. The information presented herein will not obligate the Government in any manner. The Government will not reimburse the attendees for any cost associated with participation and is under no obligation to award any related contract associated with this event. The following Industry Day documents will be available for download on or before November 1, 2002: Complete Updated Agenda, Program Overview Briefing, Performance Based Contracting Briefing, Procurement Milestones Chart, Facilities Tour Schedule, Facilities for all locations, Aircraft Data.
