- Description
- This solicitation is for the establishment of a corporate contract(s) for items manufactured primarily JI Case Company(10988)that are in accordance with military specifications and/or drawings and code and part numbered items. The acquisition will be solicited as unrestricted using Other Than Full and Open Competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Currently the acquisition only encompasses NSNs managed by DSCC. There is a potential at a later time to add NSNs managed by DSCP and/or DSCR. All NSNs are available for download under the"Acquisition Download"menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board(DIBBS)under the heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations." Access is directly available from http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is available via the World Wide Web-refer to WEB LINK at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. FSCs to be covered under this project include 2510,2520,2530,2540, 2590,2815,2910,2920,2940,2990,3010,3020,3040,4310,4320,4330,4710, 4720,4730,4810 and 4820. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s)9 and 12. This solicitation will be available on its issue date of Nov 18,2002. Availability of drawings. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07-Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY and COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class-mentioned above in the description. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price,delivery,past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
