- Description
- Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to complete the Repair Primary Distribution/Lighting MFH, at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The work covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to: Demolition of existing overhead/underground secondary, telephone, and CATV services. Installation of secondary, telephone, and CATV underground. Installation of primary conductors, manholes, and pad mounted transformers. Installation of new street lights and poles. Boring under streets, driveways, and sidewalks associated with conduit installation. Installation of new street lights on existing wood poles. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract with 270 days construction performance time. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1 Million. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 234910 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $28,500,000.00 million. This will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 16 Aug 02 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. It is anticipated that the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation: Microsoft Word (.doc), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf), WinZip (.zip or .exe.), MaxView/SourceView.exe, Audocad. More information concerning these viewers can be found on the EPS website. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process.
