- NAICS Code: 611710 This is a notice to award a sole source purchase order to the Environmental Careers Organization (ECO) of Boston, MA. 02101-1009. ECO will provide administrative support for EPA's Office of Research and Development Minority Academic Institutions (MAI) Undergraduate Student Fellowships program. This support includes fellowship administrative support as well as the creation and posting on EPA's NCER web page a Newsletter to share information about the program. The contractor is expected to provide final newsletters in both web-ready and print formats. ECO has over 30 years of experience in administering a nationwide minority internship program. ECO has provided support to EPA's MAI Undergraduate Fellowship program since 1985 and has developed a database of information about all EPA offices, programs and laboratories which is used in developing the internship assignment for ORD. EPA may issue a purchase order consisting of 36 months. This notice is not a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. However, any firm believing itself capable of providing these services and meeting the following requirements: 1). experience in administering a minority internship program, 2). experience in administering a nationwide internship program and 3). have a particular environmental focus for both its organization and its program may ubmit a request for EPA's quote by no later than 10/28/02. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order is solely within the discretion of EPA. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13.
