- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) intends to solicit and award a one-time buy, Firm Fixed Price, single contract for all items, Contract No. N66001-02-M-W003 to Primus Technologies Corporation, 2333 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701-5579 on a sole source basis, for six (6) Embeddable Standard Avionics Processors (ESAPs) [M28787-465] and eight (8) Embeddable Standard Avionics Memories (ESAMs) [M28787-469]. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511; the small business size standard is 750. The estimated release date for the solicitation is 1 Nov 2002. Electronic copies of the solicitation may be obtained from the SPAWAR E-Commerce website at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil/ under SSC San Diego "Simplified Acquisitions." Hard copy versions of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be available.
