- Description
- FISC Norfolk - Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire services and material necessary to operate and maintain the Inactive Ship On-Site Maintenance Office at Pearl Harbor, HI. These services include the alteration services such as receipt, inspection, survey, maintenance and disposal of Naval vessels. It is intended to negotiate a cost plus fixed fee modification to an existing contract with Global Associates of Irvine, CA on a sole source basis for up to a three-month period. This sole source action will provide contractual coverage until the commencement of services under the competitive follow-on contract. The authority for this sole source action is 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The period of performance will be 1 December 2002 through 28 February 2003. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
