NA A DRAFT SOLICTITATION HAS BEEN POSTED AT http://ebs-nwo.wes.army.mil All firms are required to register for this solicitation at the above web address. A TENTATIVE DATE for the Pre-Proposal Conference is November 5, 2002 in Omaha, NE at the Downtown Doub le Tree Hotel. Further information will be posted on the above web site under this solicitation. This solicitation is for a Multiple Award Remediation Contract (MARC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Type Contract where up to four (4) contracts may be awarded to provide a full spectrum of environmental remediation services as identified in NAICS code 562910 within the Northern Region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, North Virginia, Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, District of Columbia, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania) of the Installation Management Regions based on a firm fixed-price basis. Up to two (2) contracts may be award ed using unrestricted competition procedures and up to two (2) contracts are set aside for small business. The total shared contract capacity for all contracts awarded under this solicitation will be $250 Million. Individual Task Orders will be competed and awarded to the Offeror with the most competitive proposal. Task Orders may be competed on a full and open or set-aside basis depending upon procurement regulations. The major components of this RFP include the following: Firm-Fixed Price Contract, Underwriter Protection for the Government, Performance Based Statement of Work, 5-year Warrantee of the Sites after site-closeout, and a Multiple ID/IQ Type Contract where T ask Orders are competed among those offerors who have been awarded a contract under this solicitation. This project will be competed using a single-step process and proposal submittals shall be due on the specific time and date, as well as all proposal requirements, will be specified in the RFP to be released by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha Distr ict under Solicitation Number DACA45-02-R-0027. The Government also intends to conduct a Pre-proposal Conference for this solicitation. The detailed information will be found in the solicitation and will be posted on this website. The TENTATIVE date for the Pre-Proposal Conference is November 5, 2002 in Omaha, NE at the Downtown Double Tree Hotel. This solicitation shall be available through INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents shall be posted to this website http://ebs-nwo.wes.army.mil. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the web site. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to check the website for amendments and/or notifications. It is also the responsibility of the Contractor to acknowledge all amendments in the proposal documents when submitted.
