Description

Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source contract utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to AGFA Plus, 100 Challenger Road Ridgefield Park, New Jersey 07660 for the following items: CLIN 0001 Service Maintenance Agreement Plus (SMA Plus) for Picture Archiving Communications Systems (PACS). SMA Plus shall include a basic contract year plus 4 one-year options, a certified AGFA technician to perform preventive repairs to hardware/software upgrades/updates as needed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. The contractor shall provide telephone/dial-in support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and shall be responsible for the maintenance and support of all AGFA sold hardware/software installed at the 10MDG, Peterson Clinic, and Cadet Clinic. The contractor shall replace hardware devices when components fail. The contractor shall update/upgrade software to include current operating systems/software security patches as releases are available. Contractor shall ensure that the equipment meets all the manufacturer's safety and quality guidelines. The intent is to acquire this service for the 10MDG, Peterson AFB Clinic, and Cadet Clinic PACS inventory. No other type of service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by 21 Oct 02, Noon, MDT, to the effect that comparable services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining the services though a sole source procurement with AGFA, a sole source award will be made.
