Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Contractors shall quote brand name or equal to Clausing Industrial, Inc., Model Number 100A18, 100 Ton Metal Muncher. The required quantity is 1 each. This announcement constitutes the only the solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offers), 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items), and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions required to Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items). Oral Procedures shall be used for this solicitation. Evaluation factors shall be price, price related factors, and IAW the Government's Technical Requirements. All responses are due 22 Oct 2002. Contractors shall submit descripture literature with their quotations. The anticipated award date is 31 Oct 2002.
