Description
PCO: Suzanne Cole, Contracting Officer, (478) 926-7851, ext 163 Buyer: 1st Lt. Quiana Patterson, (478) 926-7851, ext 158 1. Acquisition is for NSN: 2320-00-433-5695, Aircraft Refueling Tank Truck, 6000 gallon, A/S32R-11 in accordance with MIL-PRF-32080 and AFLC Form 762. Specifications are available at http://pkec.robins.af.mil/RFP/R-11/R-11.htm. Requirement is for 2 each first articles in the base year with options as follow: Option Year I: 1-112 ea, Option Year II: 1-113 ea, Option Year III: 1-134 each, Option Year IV: 1-131 ea, Option Year V: 123 ea, Option Year VI: 1-141 ea. The requirement also includes optional accessories, warranty, provisioning for spare parts and data requirements. CBD Note 1 (100% SBSA) applies. Best value (Technically Acceptable-Risk, Price, Performance Trade-off) evaluation procedures will be used. Ship-to instructions will be provided at time of award. 2. Description: The Refueling Cargo Tank Truck is designed to fuel and defuel Government aircraft worldwide in all flying environments. The Refueler is road legal for transport of fuel and air transportable via C-130, C-141, C-5 and C-17 aircraft. 3. Estimated Milestones: RFP (O/A 30 Apr 02), Receipt of proposals (30 May 02), Award (18 Sep 02). 4. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
