- This is a special notice from the 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL. We intend to hold a pre-solicitation conference on behalf of the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC). The conference is for the African-American Pilot Recruiting Effort. We expect to conduct this the 24th of October 2002 at Headquarters AFROTC, Maxwell AFB, AL at 8:00 a.m. CST. Prior to the conference we are requesting input from industry regarding the evaluation criteria. In an attempt to learn from the private sector, we are interested in soliciting input from offerors regarding factors for the attached DRAFT Request for Proposal, which would benefit the effort and provide insight to the process. Also, we have structured the Schedule for pricing on a tiering principle based on delivery of qualified personnel. We welcome industry input on these and any other ideas. We will be discussing these ideas and the background to our intended acquisition at the industry conference and look forward to your input.
