Description
This notice serves as a Sources Sought Notice/Market Survey for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a Request for Quotes or as an obligation on the part of the Government to award a contract at this time. There is no solicitation and no further information is available at this time. There will be no contract as a result of this Market Survey and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. The Air Force, 49th Fighter Wing at Holloman AFB, NM is seeking qualified contractors with the capabilities to perform Repair and Overhaul of Crash Fire and Rescue Training Facility Systems. The NAICS code for the Repair and Overhaul of the Crash Fire and Rescue Training Facility is 339111. General Work Requirements: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform Repair and Overhaul the Crash Fire and Rescue Training Facility System at Holloman AFB. Expected part usage may include but are not limited to: 12 ea Pressure gauge 0-20 PSIG, 4 ea Nitrogen Pilot Valve, 12 ea Igniter Assembly, 12 ea Pigtail for Igniter, 2 ea Ignition cable 1,000 foot rolls, 18 ea Valve Ball three quarter inch, liquid LPG, 18 ea Valve Solenoid three quarter inch and miscellaneous electrical parts with splices as well as mechanical material. In the event that the Government issues a formal RFQ subsequent to this announcement, this requirement will be fulfilled through the award of a purchase order. It is also the Government's intent that any such purchase order award would include two follow up visits. One may be a follow up inspection and the other can be used as an annual inspection visit. Quotes submitted in response to a formal RFQ will be selected for award on the basis of best price for the Government. Davis Bacon Wage rates apply to this project.
