- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female offenders in the Miami, Florida area (North of I836 to the Broward County Line, and West to the Collier County Line). Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2000, as revised December 2000, August 2001, November 2001 and May 2002. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 85% male and 15% female. The estimated number of inmate dates for services are 59,942 for the base period; 31,390 for option period one; 32,485 for option period two; and 33,306 for option period three. The solicitation will be available on or after November 15, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is January 15, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
