- This is a combined synopsis/dolicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number in N0464A-03-Q-0002. the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and closes on 30 Oct 2002, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541519 and the small business size standard is $18.0M. The requirement is for Maintenance renewal of Software Suport which includes: - bibliographic & inventory control; - authority control; enhanced public access, circulation; - acquisition; serial control, information Gateway; - classified accountability and (20) Infoview for windows Hardware depot maintenance support for - (1) Parallel PCO's Receipt printer, Serial #AH001812824 - (1) PC Barcode Reader w/Mini DIN 2/CCD, Serial #1021A018176 - (1) Welch Allyn CCD Barcode Scanner - (1) Intermec Trakker T2090s Software maintenance support for Hyerion Digital Media Archive to include: - Hyperion Gateway, Hierarchy Manager, Media File Manager; - Hyperion Access Manager, Import Facility, Admin GUI(3); - Hyperion capture GUI(1), Media Test Index Manager, - Webcat World Wide Web Catalog Access The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. SIRSI C orporation, 101 Washington Street SE, Huntsville, AL 35801. The period of performance is 01 NOV 2002 thru 30 SEP 2003. The following clauses and provisions are applicable and hereby incorporated into the solicitation by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items with technical capability and price as the evaluation factors in paragraph (a), the technical capability factor is significantly more important than price; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (offerors are required to complete and include a copy of FAR 52.212-3 with their quote); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items with the following clauses (identified by number) incorporated in paragrap h (b): (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (24) and (25); FAR 52.213-2 Payment for the Maintenance Renewal Support will be made by Purchase Card. Quotes must be received no later than 2:00 PM, Eastern Time, 30 OCT 2002.
