- The USDA, Forest Service, Southern Region 8 is soliciting quotes for Exclusive-Use, Type III Helicopter services for prescribed fire support for one (1) base year and a two (2) optional-year renewal period. The solicitation will be posted on this website on or about October 10, 2002. The designated base will be at DeSoto National Forest at the DeSoto Heli-base in Wiggins, Mississippi. All responsbile sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes 12 and 13.
