- Description
- Dry voyage ship charter for U.S. or foreign flag self sustaining RORO vessel to move approximately 52,869 sq ft/253 pieces wheeled vehicles/track vehicles and containers as a full or part cargo. Minimum speed of 15 knots laden is required. Vessel to have sufficient lashing gear, cargo tie-down points, appropriate spreader bars and lifting gear. Laydays: 14-21 October 2002 (Available to Load 14 October 2002) Load/Discharge: Free-in/Free-Out Load Ports: First: Belgium (Available to Load 14 October 2002) Second: Italy Discharge Ports: First: Middle East Second: Middle East Laytime: 7 days Total SSHINC (for Europe and Mediterranean) and SSHEX (Middle East) Complete solicitation available for download at www.msc.navy.mil Award will be made to lowest price, technically acceptable offeror. Price will be evaluated using the lump sum freight and three (3) days of proposed demurrage/detention rate. The highest proposed demurrage rate in those offers with varying rates will be used in the price evaluation.
