- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA is soliciting proposals to procure the following on a full and open competition basis: the manufacture of sixty (60) ea Command Destruct Receivers in accordance with Critical Item Product Specification for Receivers, Command Destruct, NWC 1638A in support of the HARM missile testing. The Command Destruct Receivers shall operate at 439MHz and the decoder frequencies shall be standard tone frequencies 1, 2, and 5, in accordance with the Specification. The center frequency stability of the receiver shall be .005 percent of the specified center frequency for all conditions of environment, aging, and power supply voltage within the limits specified. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price contract for this effort. Range Qualification Tests, and First Article Testing will be required unless the exact product proposed by the contractor has been produced in the last 12 months at the same facility using the same processes and equipment. Delivery of the receivers will be FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, 360 days after contract award. Partial and early deliveries are acceptable. Award is scheduled to occur by 31 March 2003. The offeror selected for award will be that offeror determined to be most advantageous to the Government based on Best Value evaluation. The evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 24 Oct 2002, and will be available through the Contract Competency homepage Web site at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. The Government anticipates a 30-day response time for receipt of proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 26.
