- NA The Wilmington District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contemplates multiple awards of Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to establish a continuing program of intermittent archaeological and historical reconnaissance, documentation, t esting, and evaluation at various locations of (1) federally funded construction projects administered by the Corps of Engineers and other federal agencies, (2) proposed, non-federal construction subject to the Corps of Engineers' regulatory authority, and (3) military construction projects located in the Southearn United States. Field work will be conducted on both privately owned and publicly (local, State, and Federal) owned property. The various regulatory obligations and legal authorities for each ca tegory of investigation are complex, and all work will require close coordination with the Wilmington District. Individual Task Orders issued by the Contracting Officer will result from Descriptions of Services issued to the Contractors which shall be the basis of competitive negotiations regarding the scheduling and personnel required to accomplish the proposed work. The proposed services will be obtained by competively negotiated, firm fixed price contracts awarded by Best Value Tradeoff source selectio n procedures. Firms responding to this announcement in writing (FAX 910-251-4454) will be sent Request for Proposal (RFP) DACW54-02-R-0006 o/a 06 November 2002, with proposals due o/a 06 December 2002. These will be Best Value awards, and the evaluation factors for award and their relative order of importance will be included in the RFP. This requirement is advertised as PARTIAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The NAICS Code is 541690 and the Small Business Size Standard is $5,000,000.
