- NA One each VMC, FOB destination, Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA. Includes installation, operational demonstration for Acceptance, standard documentation, training, and warranty. May be either a fixed table/moving bridge configuration or a traveling tab le/fixed machining column. Additional requirements: minimum table load capacity of 200 pounds per square foot; Foot Print not greater than 24 feet by 15 feet, not more than 14 feet high when set up for operation; Automatic tool changing system, minimum cap acity of 30 tools, accommodating tool up to 13.5 inches in length and 4 inches in diameter, tool changes accomplished within 10 seconds; capable of drilling 3.15 inches, milling 24 cubic inches per minute, and tapping M40; minimum of 27.5 inches clearance under the cross rail/bridge with a minimum of height travel of the same for the Z-axis; tool position accuracy of +.0015 inches; spindle shall be 50 Taper, minimum 10,000 RPM, minimum of 3500 ft./lbs. of drilling thrust and 87 ft./lbs. of torque; CNC type controls using a GE FANUC 15i or equivalent controller; must satisfy OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212 as a minimum and meet or exceed the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements NFPA 79-1987 Electrical Standards for Industrial Machinery; minimum one y ear warranty. Delivery is 280 days after date of award. NAICS is 333512, 500 employees. Anticipated issue is 23 OCT 02. Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, Full & Open competition. This action is subject to availability of funds. A ward can be made only to an offeror that has registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR information is available at http://www.ccr.gov/. This solicitation shall be issued electronically only. Any Amendments will also be issued electronica lly only. No paper or disc will be available. Issue is in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(d). Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date at the Army Business Opportunity Page (ABOP) at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil. At the ABOP, at NEW USERS, follow instructions to register. After obtaining a password, which is usually provided with 24 hours, go to ABOP, under ARMY SOLICITATIONS, select CECOM.
