- Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Office. Services, Non-Personal, Overhaul: The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul and/or modification, test, packing and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated for One Year, plus four One-year options for CLIN 0001, CLIN 0002, and CLIN 0003. The item and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 1680-01-148-4142RK, P/N: U53-A, Noun: Linear Electro-Mechanical Actuator, Application: B1B, Qty: Basic year - 36 each, Option I - 28 each, Option II - 28 each, Option III - 28 each, Option IV - 28 each. CLIN 0002: NSN: 1680-01-181-4268RK, P/N: E36-B, Noun: Linear Electro-Mechanical Actuator, Application: B1B, Qty: Basic year ? 100 each, Option I ? 84 each, Option II ? 84 each, Option III ? 84 each, Option IV ? 84 each. CLIN 0003: NSN: 1680-01-289-2958RK, P/N: Y56A, Noun: Linear Electro-Mechanical Actuator, Application: B1B, Qty: Basic year ? 22 each, Option I ? 16 each, Option II ? 16 each, Option III ? 16 each, Option IV ? 16 each. CLIN 0004: Over and Above, as required. CLIN 0005: Data and Reports IAW DD Form 1423 and Appendix B. This solicitation is to obtain requirements type overhaul contract with 100% contractor furnished material. The approximate issue/response date will be 08 NOV 02. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: CLIN 0001: 3 each 30 days ARO reps and order followed by 3 each thereafter. CLIN 0002: 9 each 30 days ARO reps and order followed by 9 each thereafter, CLIN 0003: 2 each 30 days ARO reps and order followed by 2 each thereafter. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Reply Fax Number is (405)739-3462, ATTN: KELLI HANCOCK. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. Award will be made only if the offeror meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
